This album rules. Released in 1969, It was Isaac Hayes breakthrough into fame. Up until this point he had been a behind-the-scenes songwriter and producer for the massively important Memphis soul label Stax Records, and his debut album had not gotten much attention or acclaim. This album consists of only four songs, so most of them are pretty damn long. The first song, Walk On By, has perhaps the most awesome opening to an album that I've ever heard. If you're into soul, or you like Chef from South Park's voice, you need this.
